Consulting Engagements
Three Engagements,
One Standard of Care
Each engagement is designed for a specific type of challenge. The right choice depends on what your organisation is working through, and how much time that work requires.

How We Approach Every Engagement
All three Lumenith engagements share a common methodology, regardless of their scope or duration. The work begins with structured listening — a series of conversations with leadership designed to understand the situation on its own terms before any analysis begins.
What follows is a period of contextual review: reading materials the organisation provides, observing where relevant, and asking clarifying questions across sessions. Analysis is built from this foundation, not from generic frameworks applied before the specific situation is understood.
Deliverables are written in plain language and designed for use inside the organisation — in board discussions, in planning conversations, or simply as a reference document that captures where the thinking has arrived at a given point.
The engagement closes with a final session and written document. There is no automatic follow-on unless both parties choose one. The materials produced remain your organisation's property.
Engagement 01
Strategic Orientation Review
A measured engagement designed for organisations approaching a directional decision — whether assessing market entry into Southeast Asia, considering structural reorganisation, or weighing partnership options. The review opens with structured conversations with leadership, followed by a contextual analysis of the operating environment, and concludes with a written perspective document that maps available paths alongside their respective considerations.
Suited for executive teams, founders, and boards seeking thoughtful external counsel rather than a directive answer. Spans approximately four to six weeks.
- Three on-site sessions with leadership team
- Written perspective document mapping available paths
- Closing presentation to key stakeholders
- Mutual NDA before work begins
Process
Orientation Conversations
Structured initial sessions to understand the decision at hand and the leadership team's current frame.
Contextual Analysis
Review of relevant materials, operating environment, and available data. Further sessions as needed.
Written Perspective Document
Paths mapped alongside their respective considerations — honest about uncertainty where it exists.
Closing Presentation
Final session with leadership to walk through findings and address questions.

Engagement 02
Operational Cartography Engagement
A collaborative review of internal operations for organisations between thirty and three hundred employees. The work involves accompanying the team through their existing workflows, observing handoff points, and producing an operational map that illustrates current pathways alongside areas where adjustment may be considered.
The deliverable is presented in plain language with diagrams suitable for sharing across functions. Duration is typically eight to ten weeks depending on organisational scale.
- Workflow observation across relevant functions
- Operational map with handoff and decision junction diagrams
- Plain-language document for internal circulation
- Listening-first approach before any recommendations
Process

Handoff Mapping
Identification and illustration of where work moves between people, teams, and systems.
Draft Map Review
Interim document shared with leadership for correction and additional context before finalisation.

Engagement 03
Long-Form Strategic Companion Engagement
An ongoing advisory relationship structured as a year-long companion engagement for senior leadership facing extended periods of ambiguity — succession planning, prolonged market shifts, or sustained organisational change. The engagement is non-directive in posture, offering external thinking partnership rather than answers handed down.
Suited for chief executives and senior partners who value a steady counterpart over the course of a complete cycle. Includes monthly half-day sessions, quarterly written briefings, and a standing communication line.
- Monthly half-day working sessions with senior advisor
- Quarterly written briefings on evolving strategic landscape
- Standing communication line for between-session matters
- Year-long continuity through seasonal business cycles

Across All Engagements
Professional Standards Applied Throughout
Confidentiality by Default
Mutual NDA signed before any substantive conversation. All client information is held in strict confidence for the duration and after the engagement concludes.
Written Scope Agreements
Every engagement is documented with a clear scope, defined deliverables, and agreed fee structure — signed before work begins.
Senior-Only Delivery
The advisor who runs the first session runs all subsequent sessions and writes all documents. There is no delegation to junior staff after the engagement commences.
PDPA Compliance
Personal data handled in line with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act. Data retained only as required and never shared outside the engagement.
Structured Feedback
Written feedback sought at the close of each engagement. Used internally to maintain the quality of how we work — not published externally without consent.
